Releasing the Out-dated & In-Genuine Patterns Within

Hey Beautiful Soul,

Are you ready to harness your power in a deeper way? I’ve got some questions for you:

  1. Have you ever said something you wish you could take back?
  2. Do something out of character?
    Or
  3. Acted in a way that wasn’t in alignment with your soul and heart?
    ——————
At some point in all of our lives, I’m sure this has happened. We are learning. Learning to be better, learning to love better, learning how to evolve. Go ahead and forgive yourself now of all those moments when you lost it. We get to do better now.

So what’s the next step here?

Again, it’s simple and not easy. It comes down to allowing yourself to generate space from whatever it is you are reacting to in any given moment. Give yourself a sacred pause, a sacred breath, a friggin’ minute to get yourself back together and in alignment with your soul.

This is why we meditate—for a sacred pause—an “ah-ha”.

The more we practice how to be in this state of pause, the more this becomes habitual. Practicing with diligence under situations that are not charged up with emotion is what prepares us for game day.

On that day, when your buttons are pushed a little too far, when you lose your cool and feel like you just got dropped into the freakin’ Sahara Desert emotionally, when anxieties arise within that overtake you like a tsunami on a Sunday…remember to pause. Practice with your heart wide open, surrender your frailties, and commit to being even 2% better. If you choose this option, you get to co-create with these wild moments instead of being completely side-swiped by them.

These moments are an opportunity to call upon your practice. Your practice of breathing, being calm, and giving yourself that sacred pause. This practice allows you to gather yourself fully so you make the best decision possible moving forward.

Those 5 minutes spent each morning, practicing breath or sitting in silence or watching your thoughts, regulate your nervous system in a way that means everything for your alignment and overall sanity.

So when the time comes when you feel at your edge, you will be more likely to CHOOSE a sacred pause, a breath, a break in time, BEFORE responding to generate more peace within you and around you. Your actions will become more aligned with everything you are if you choose to pause and respond over react and attack.

What a radical choice to choose peace instead of the chaos that would surely insue if you lose your center. BE radical please.

Stay in your center, honor your heart, and be in your peace.

Be a rebel in this way. Even when the whole world wants to burn it down, be the one who sparks peace, love and neutrality instead.

If you don’t already have a practice this is a great day to start. 5 minutes is all it takes. Consistency is key.
